Okay, look. I am among the last people on earth still not to have read The DaVinci Code (and I know many of you are in that group as well, of course), but I saw the movie, and I laughed and laughed (was that what they were going for?) -- and now I've just seen a trailer for the movie of "Angels and Demons", which, AHAHAHA, but listen!,
  • it has Ewan McGregor in it, and
  • it's coming out on my birthday!
Happy birthday to me! Who's coming along for that? It will be comedy gold.

I didn't read the book (the first one). I tried, but one page in I realized it was dreck. (Stephen Fry says it only took one sentence to know it was "execrable.") I saw the movie only to have a context from which to view Priest!Ewan. I had no expectations for the movie, so it was okay. I find the Jesus-bashing to be a bit ham-fisted, but whatever. I am only in it for the set dressing and Ewan in a cassock.

I wish I was going to be in the right time zone. I'd totally be up for that.

Also, I thought of you today when my case worker/peer counsellor told me I needed to extrapolate the words "crazy" and "normal" from my vocabulary, that they were four letter words.

[tries to work out how you would even do that]
