yaoobruni. Good trip up, pausing like grown-ups at a hotel in Where the Hell, New Jersey instead of driving all the way in one night. Arrived at a perfectly civilized hour Saturday afternoon, hung out happily, helped schlep some furniture (I am useful as well as decorative!), hung out some more. Barbecue on Sunday with Many More People, including ban_sidhe and starfish and others whose handles I either don't know or can't spell -- hi, everyone! And more hanging out. Good times!
Drove back today; good weather the whole way, and we got home by about 7pm, and when I got heredatlowen was here, yay! We ordered a pizza, and we have finished watching a dreadful movie on Logo, and then it was time to pick something else to watch and I swear to god we had the following conversation:datlowen. :-D

datlowen: Seriously, I saw the channels go by and thought oh, Golden Girls - no, let her choose and then oh, Top Gear - no, let her choose.
