Seriously, don't you guys do sound checks of any kind before you turn on the cameras?
Liza looks better than I'd have expected, though. (Miss Stockard Channing and Miss Dolly Parton and Miss Allison Janney andMiss Sir Elton John all looked as good as I'd have expected, but I didn't expect them to look terrible, did I? [g])
This opening medley is ... okay, I get what they're doing, but overlapping "Tonight" and "Luck Be a Lady" is a little freaky-deaky if you ask me. Now we're in Hair and I'm still kind of torqued at the sound levels. But I do kind of dig how everyone else is doing "Let the Sunshine In" in black tie.
