consultation on Type A

If you kept your DVDs in alphabetical order by title, where would you put the Narnia movies? I'm not making a poll, just asking. There are, as I see it, three options:
  • alpha under C for The Chronicles of Narnia
  • alpha under N for Narnia
  • alpha under L for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (tangent: there is an Oxford comma in there, isn't there? I mean, in this of all things there ought to be. [goes to look] There isn't! Not on the DVD or on either copy I've got of the book! Oh, Clive, how could you?), under P for Prince Caspian, and so on.
I'm not even sure at the moment which way I'm leaning.

For things like this, I generally start with alpha under N (because I have a few other things that are "Chronicles") and then go in order of publication/theatrical release/chronological order within that.

FWIW, I was driven nuts by the bookstore where I used to work, which did *everything* alphabetically including series, except for chapter books which were numbered within series and genre and age group.

C of course.

And I can't believe they left off the serial comma!
