Wednesday, as we saw, migraine leading to stickies on the door at work and a general feeling of fragility.
Thursday was no particular problem, but yesterday I had that headache when I woke up, so I bagged work and stayed home and rested and eventually took something because I wasn't a big fan of waiting for it to go away on its own. Also missed skiffy because I was not in any mood to deal with a crowd (but I did watch the relevant episode on my own screen over here, so it's almost like I was there, in a way [g]).
Strange dreams this morning, with some of you in them, and some of my family, as well, including my mother referring to my brother as "your nephew", which is odd, because she hasn't called me by her sister's name in years. Not upsetting dreams, but I nevertheless felt kind of grumpy when I woke up, and I decided I'd HAD IT, and I fired up the coffee maker. With decaf in it, mind - I haven't fallen off my (four weeks and a day) wagon, but the first day of no caffeine I had decaf coffee and then I haven't had anything so much as coffee-flavored since then, and I couldn't take it any more.
But it is not very satisfying.
Still: soon I'm off to my voice lesson, and then I will go teach people to curl, and then I will pick up some groceries and come home and do some laundry, because tomorrow I can has houseguest, yay!
