The cold is, dare I say, on its way out. And not a moment too soon.

Made amaretto cookies at [personal profile] wordplay and [livejournal.com profile] chromodynamics's this evening, because C was allowing me the use of her stand mixer, thank god. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: life is too short to mix almond paste and sugar in any way other than with a stand mixer.
