look what time it is!
Curling is done. One tiebreaker for the girls (last night; four games yesterday after all) and none for the boys (one game today!), and it's all over.
Am on what seems to be the downward side of a very swift-moving (thank goodness) head cold with rattly cough that I picked up from one of the kids. This is Day Three, so I will no longer be contagious by the time I see any of you. Swigging cough syrup from the bottle ftw.
Am also dehydrated like crazy. It's cold up here, for a start, and the air is dry, and here in the hotel I swear I walk into the room and I can feel my skin tighten. I'm drinking extra water and slathering on more lotion in the hope that it will help. I think if I soaked a towel and draped it over the heater all I'd get would be a dry towel in the shape of the heater.
