this time, *i* get to curl!

We won our first game in kind of a rout. Life is like that sometimes. We stole four in the sixth end, is what I'm saying. And stole three more in the seventh.

Our second game, omfg. We lost the toss and stole one in the first. They got one in the second. We took one in the third. They took two in the fourth, on a really nice shot by the skip which was actually a shot for three, but the incredibly good shot our skip had made right before that didn't get bumped quite far enough out of the way. They stole one in the fifth. We took one in the sixth. So now we're down one with two ends left to play. This is getting serious. We finally found our guard weight in the seventh end, thank god, so we were building a good steal. At one point they got a very nice draw that looked like it was going to be trouble for us; but I said to the skip, listen, for what it's worth, I can see almost that whole rock, with a little room on the outside. So we took negative ice and I made the hit through a port about an inch wider than the rock, and oh my GOD you guys, IT WAS AWESOME. Stole one in the seventh.

And then we stole one in the eighth. FOR THE WIN! Against a team made up of a frankly weak front end, but a good vice and a really very good skip, who tends to win These Sorts Of Games. So that was even nicer.

... And now we play at 8am tomorrow morning, so I'ma go to bed. Night!
