ellen_fremedon saw my earlier post and called to let me know that the power wasn't out at her house, and I was welcome to come over if necessary. I was napping on the couch at the time and feeling nice and toasty under my blankets, so I said I'm okay, but thanks -
- and then an hour later, awake and alert, I thought, self, it's only going to get colder in here when it gets dark outside, are you crazy?!, and I called Ellen and said I'm coming over and I'm bringing my toothbrush in case I need to stay on the couch overnight.
It has stopped snowing, but I'm staying here until I know for sure the power is back on at my house. Thanks toellen_fremedon and pocketmouse for taking in refugees. :-)
