wait, but it is not snowing.
Owing to the breezy conditions outside (50+ mph, oh joy), my lights have just flickered.
I would like everyone reading this to clap their hands, say "I do believe in fairies, I do, I do," and thus ensure that I do not lose power this time. It is too soon. (I just saw on Making Light where Los Nielsen Haydens' power is out and Con Ed estimates they'll have it back on tomorrow morning, and I'll tell you what, that fails to excite my sympathy. I'd have loved to have my power back on the morning after it went out.)
