2011. I am living alone in a two-bedroom apartment just (really, just) north of Our Nation's Capital, and my car is living in its own parking space, and I am very pleased about both of these things.
2001. I am living alone in a very nice studio apartment just south of Our Nation's Capital. It is the first time I've had my own place, and I'm walking on air.
1991. I am going on fourteen and living with my parents and my brother in the house my folks have lived in since 1973.
