blergh.

Monday: Went to the doctor for a throat culture. Submitted to blood work, diagnosed with mono. Did not cry! Went to work, notified supervisor-types, set up an auto-respond on my e-mail advising that I'd be out for the week. Came home via grocery store where picked up soup, juice, oranges, etc. Had a nap. Consulted with brother and sister-in-law re: visiting next week. Went to rehearsal, as hope not to be there next week; sat over to the side away from people, and did not sing a note. Came home and went to bed, with no alarm set.

Tuesday: Woke up, migrated to couch, knit a couple of rows, changed some TV channels, had a nap, had some soup, went to curling, got yelled at (am not a danger to others, but had to contend with those who are concerned about danger to self; am skip on Tuesdays, so it was v. easy to promise honestly that I would not exert myself), won in a really embarrassing rout. (Lost the toss; won 12-0 in six ends. It is not the sort of thing one tries to do, in a league-type situation.) Came home, had interloper towed from parking space, arranged for someone to cover for me at curling Wednesday when I would otherwise have to exert myself and potentially endanger my spleen, went to bed with no alarm set.

Wednesday: Woke up, migrated to couch, within 45 minutes had to lie down, slept for two hours, woke up, changed some TV channels, only a couple of hours later had to lie down again, slept for two more hours - two naps! Going to bed soon.

I don't like this very much.
