ow.
I woke up this morning with a screeching headache. It was the kind that is so awful that even staying in bed doesn't help, so I figured I might as well get up as not. I could tell I'd been clenching my teeth for at least a while, so I concentrated on relaxing my jaw; when I sat up in bed I carefully did some of the stretches they taught me at PT to relax my neck (which, incidentally, when I'm really tense I can feel the neck stretch on the top of my head); I took three advil and got in the shower.
And by the time I was out of the shower, I felt substantially better - but you know, that's too many variables. I was thinking, why is it that we so often seem to be able to combat dehydration by watering our outsides, and then I thought, you idiot, you also focused on relaxing and took pain relievers, so you don't really know what helped, now, do you?
Sigh.
It's only lasted about 70% worth, though. My head does hurt today. Wah.
