Bad: suddenly having a headache bad enough to wake you from sleep. At 5am.
Good: husbands who, when you mumble "air conditioner* ", get out of bed and close the windows and turn on the a/c.
Bad: still having the headache when you wake up again, after an angry dream, three and a half hours later.
Good: husbands who give chiropractic hugs when you ask for them.
Also good: coffee. And this microwave hot pack.
I think I just felt something in the back of my neck go "click". So the morning may be saved.
* What I mumbled was "It's hot and my head really hurts, can we close the windows and put the air on," to which he said "Sorry, what did you say?" "Can we have the air conditioner," I summarized. "You want me to close the windows and turn it on?" "Yes, please." I was probably speaking into a pillow, so it's good that he and I understand each other.
