So I open the mailbox.

And right on top, I see a thin envelope with a cresty seal thing in the corner.

And my heart sinks.

Turns out it's from my own university. Where I did my undergraduate degree, I mean. They want money.

Heh. Bastards. They'll get money from me when (a) I have some and (b) they haven't just freaked me right out with thinking my grad school hopes are shot. :-)

Well, they were quick on the trigger ... three years ago. :-) Now they're just persistent and annoying.
