my weekend, part 2

Mom is out of the hospital a mere 34.5 hours after she went in, with her skull back in place. Still in pain from having her head cut open, of course, but she says the pain is in her scalp rather than her brain, and she’s rid of the loathed helmet. Things may be looking up.
