why i love my husband - a minor exhibit
So Friday night, after I put the 2yo to bed I turned the TV on just in time (inadvertently, so yay) for the beginning of Wonder Woman, which we hadn’t seem so I hit the DVR and settled in to watch. Himself came home from his rehearsal about 2/3 through the thing when they’re in the woods outside the village they’ve liberated; Diana gallops off in one direction and Steve Trevor spots an abandoned motorcycle and commandeers it.
“Of course - it just figures there’d be a motorcycle,” he said. And then, as Steve Trevor does a fancy filmy banking turn, “And that our hero would know how to ride it.”
I raised an eyebrow and, as the shot cut back to Diana in the saddle, said “*Our hero* is riding a horse, as a matter of fact.”
And - and this is why I love him - my husband said “Yes. Yes she is. Fair point.”
