i can't find my music tag (oh there it is)

So I've had this side gig for more than 10 years singing in the choir of a Catholic church on the other side of the river, and . . . yesterday I called the music director to say I think it's time for me to leave.* I don't really want to talk about it right now, but suffice to say this particular parish (in this particular diocese) has moved far enough to the right that even tithing to Planned Parenthood out of my earnings is no longer enough to make me feel okay about spending that much of my time there.

If you know any Episcopalians trying to hire a soprano, hook me up. 😉

*He took it fine; it's not the choir that's become intolerable to me, or I'd have been gone a long time ago, and the boss assured me that the shift downstairs is not remotely a figment of my imagination.
