fox | ... and a ruthless efficiency

~~two~~ ~~three~~ four things:

1. the paper is within a paragraph of being done.

2. the kid who hasn't come to class since the second week of the semester has finally withdrawn. and by finally i mean the form was dated last wednesday, which was the last day for undergraduates to withdraw from a course. the professor signed it and the carbon turned up in my box today, for me to keep with my grade book. so, one less thing for me to worry about.

3. my own transcript still has that pesky W on it. tomorrow or wednesday i shall see if i can't bug the office about moving on the getting rid of that.

4. my biggest funny of the weekend, i forgot to mention it. saturday night, a few of us closed the club (like you do), and the following exchange took place:

devilvern: last call at the bar, guys.
guy from pittsburgh (drunk): i thought they said the bar'd be open all night!
darthfox (tipsy): they lied to you. welcome to washington.

well, it was freakin hilarious at the time.

i'll finish this paper in a few minutes, and then it'll be the sleeping on top of the covers with the lights on, because otherwise, yeah, i'll sleep through the class. and that would be, like, a bad thing.
