ah, the gym
i was thinking of going to the gym this afternoon, but for a variety of reasons, i don't think i will. first of all, obviously, my motivation is a little low. secondly, it's (no shit) 81 degrees outside, with 74% humidity. the weather didn't get the memo about it being almost winter, i guess. so i'm really not interested in being outside with the walking any more than i have to. also, i took out the trash and cleaned the stove and ran and unloaded the dishwasher and put away my laundry yesterday, so i've been about as virtuous as i can stand. if i'm feeling more virtuous, i'll probably sweep and mop and clean the bathroom.
i definitely need to do laundry before leaving tomorrow. but i have exactly two quarters in my apartment. that's, yeah, not enough. so i will have to leave the house to get some change at some point this afternoon. i also need a new red pen, since both of my existing ones have gone dry or wonky. i may take myself to see the matrix: redundant this evening, if it's not playing at the uber-gross movie theater. but first: a little rest, i think.
[eta: or it could be playing at none of the movie theaters i can easily get to, so never mind. it seems that the closest place showing it is about 40 miles away. grr.]
