half the fun of writing linguistics papers is making up sample sentences.

actually most of the fun is glossing the sample sentences.

to illustrate the difference between a participle (in the first sentence) and the same participle lexicalized as an adjective (in the second):

Женщина, сумасшедшая (после аварии мужа), не живет одна.

Ženščin-a, sumasšed-š-aja (posle avari-i muž-a), ne živ-et odn-a
woman-NOM.f.sg go.mad-PastAP-NOM.f.sg (after crash-GEN.f.sg husband-GEN.m.sg) NEG live-3sg alone-NOM.f
The woman(,) who lost her mind (after her husband's accident)(,) does not live alone

Сумасшедшая женщина не живет одна.

Sumasšedš-aja ženščin-a ne živ-et odn-a
gone.mad-NOM.f.sg woman-NOM.f.sg NEG live-3sg alone-NOM.f
The crazy lady doesn't live alone

... of course, i do live alone ...
