russian grammar (for which, you'll remember, i wrote a wretched paper; as of monday the professor hadn't decided what grade to give me on the course, because my final exam contained numerous errors. i wasn't prepared to argue this point with him, because it was completely true; as i pointed out to him, all i'd have been able to say was "yeah, i sure made up a bunch of those answers, didn't i."
