1. earthlink: bunch of dweebs. so i ordered DSL a week or so ago, so i don't have to live on dialup for the rest of my life. today i checked the order status page; order placed, line activated, equipment shipped, order completed. except, you know, i haven't received the equipment ... because the address they shipped it to is two years out of date. [sigh] so i spoke to a very nice girl who made sure my address was the same through their whole system and is going to ship me more equipment. (at least they activated the right line.)
2. broadway: B reports that J can't get comps to wicked, more's the pity. will hold out another couple of days and see if M has anything to say. she also tells me "word on the street is that oz is lame, but i think it's worth a shot." so there may be ticket opportunities there; who knows. she has heard it's closing soon, so we shouldn't dally.
