is this normal?

my parents feel bad that i'm sick -- partly sympathetically, and because they generally wish nothing bad would happen to us, of course; but mainly because they feel like they should have given me a better immune system.

in curling news, we played like crap tonight and deserved to be defeated by [livejournal.com profile] datlowen and his minions. 7-2 in seven ends. gah.
