probably not. and the thing is, there is a heater -- in edinburgh, i had a heater on a timer (it could be marginally less freezing cold either when i went to bed or when i woke up, but not both), but here, i've got an actual heater on a thermostat-type thing. issues are, it's clear across the room and not very powerful, but if i turn it on at night then i'm sweltering by morning.
