wrt my grandfather: i haven't actually heard in a few days. my aunt was going to have someone in to "evaluate his situation" last friday afternoon eastern time, and let us know how that went, and she hasn't let us (or me, at least) know anything yet. hrm. but: if the news were dire, my mother would have called me by now. for the moment, i will cling to cautious optimism.
