concourse G at o'hare must be punishment for some sort of bad behavior in a previous life
Yup. To be fair, most of the other concourses aren't nearly as bad; most AA flights leave from H and K, and they're pretty tolerable. But O'Hare still bites, on the whole.
The newspaper yesterday said that 20% of people flying yesterday would be going through O'Hare; I couldn't believe that. But it explains why the place is so awful; it's just not big enough to handle all that traffic. Throw in some bad weather and it gets very ugly.
Oh, and don't complain about the Richmond airport if you can get there at 5:45 for a 6:30 flight. We're flying to Atlanta Friday, and we'll be at O'Hare at least 90 minutes before flight time. Yuck, yuck, yuck.
