What is your favorite word?
i keep hearing this question, and it's tough to pick just one. last time i thought about it, i settled on "words that dress up fancier than they need to be," like defenestrate and combust. lately i've noticed a particular fondness for the word abscond.
What is your least favorite word?
i don't like squat as a verb, but i rather appreciate it as an adjective. i really don't like the word cunt, but not because it's vulgar; i don't like how it sounds.
What turns you on?
facial hair, about three days' worth -- still short enough to be scratchy. good hands. a nice rich singing voice -- baritone or second tenor.
What turns you off?
false friendliness; bad hygiene.
What sound (or noise) do you love?
rain (pardon the cliche), if i'm indoors and warm and dry.
What sound (or noise) do you hate?
nails on the blackboard. it's physically painful to me.
What is your favorite curse word?
i'm with ces; fuck is a wonderful word.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
i have no profession, so i have a wide open field. :-) i think i'd very much like to conduct a pit band.
What profession other than yours would you not like to participate in?
medicine. it's fine and noble and i'm glad there are people doing it, but it's really just not for me. between the bad hours and the body fluids -- ugh.
