Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past. i don't normally get a lot of new people, but okay:
six months ago, i was writing drabbles and generally memeing.
nine months ago, i took a quiz of some kind, and was eagerly awaiting williams trivia.
one year ago, i had a new icon and a strange dream, and the red sox won the pennant.
two years ago, i was frustrated and itchy, but i had new DVDs.
