woke up this morning really quite distressingly sick, for no apparent reason.  i've been trying to think what could be causing it, and coming up with nothing -- if it were food poisoning, i'd have felt it before i went to bed, and i haven't been drinking, so all that's left is some sort of bug.  i thought maybe it was too warm in my room, so i opened the window and drank some water to combat the dehydration, but no, i've been alternately running back and forth to the bathroom and hunching over the sink wishing to god i could actually throw up.  which i haven't really been able to do since the late 1980's.  i don't know what the deal is, but my stomach spasms and i gag and spit, but can't ever really produce anything more than that.

you're all glad for the details, i'm sure.

it leaves me weak, though, so i'm going to lie down again.
