founders' feast, or, attention: girls with good racks
so i've found, the past two or three parties i've gone to, that the way to deal with hanger loops is this: get a safety pin. pin the loops to each other underneath your breasts. this both a) keeps them out of your way and b) acts as a sort of makeshift underwire thingie, keeping the boobies elevated.
i swear by this method. unfortunately, it does nothing for the fact that the shoulder straps of the dress are still too big for my shoulders, and keep falling down. i may have to take them up before i wear this dress again.
also: good intentions (and only £5 worth of after-dinner drinks money) foiled by distinguished fellows who insist on keeping on buying the next round. must get up in ... oh, a shortish time in order to be at a rehearsal half an hour away in eight hours. bah.
