head cold: back with a vengeance.
chest cold: affirmative.

nose and upper lip: raw.
throat: not really raw, but full of tonsils that are bigger than they should be.
friends who go to the store to bring a person tissues: accumulating tons of good karma.
and bring unsolicited cookies as well: omg angels in human form.
amount of decongestant and expectorant consumed today: more than it says on the label.
amount of antihistamine consumed today: one dose, because i couldn't take the sneezing anymore.
drainage: clear. at least that's something.
ability to free sinuses (including popping ears) for more than five consecutive seconds: limited.
ability to get crud out of lungs: nil.
olympic events watched on BBC interactive (from news.bbc.com): women's freestyle skiing, men's luge, pairs figure skating (short program).
days until olympic curling begins: 2.
progress on syntax paper today: nil.
days until i call the doctor if i'm not doing better: 1.5, although in the absence of fun bacterial colors they'll just tell me to rest and drink fluids, so i'm not sure why i'll be bothering.
