in which i shiver
as you may have gathered, it's snowing. like, a lot. up in washington, it was fine dry snow falling very fast, and when the wind blew it in my face it felt like sand. it melted when it hit my eyelashes and froze again a second later. digging my car out of the drift that had grown up around it was not fun.
down here, it looks like snow, but it bounces off the car like hail. and still windy; i'm a little (not a lot) concerned about the paint. my windshield wipers are the next thing to utterly useless and really need to be replaced. it's almost as deep as one of the front steps of my building, piled up on each of the front steps of my building, and when you step on it you don't sink in at all; you just slide a little. ugh, ugh.
but my brother is getting married! [beam]
