ah well.
Didn't get the teaching gig. Am surprisingly okay with this -- i.e., with the prospect of not being responsible for teaching Writing Skills to 14- and 15-year-olds for a month. Especially as there is a relatively high degree of certainty that the deciding factor wasn't so much whether I was qualified as whether my credentials would look good on their website -- meaning, whoever got it is probably a Rhodes scholar. [eyeroll]
This may mean I'll be living in my parents' house this summer. If, that is, someone in Cleveland will hire me. Or possibly even if not, because my parents will house me for free whether I have a job or whether I don't. ... Anyone elsewhere want to make me an offer? :-)
