things to remember when life is inordinately frustrating
(And by 'inordinately frustrating', I mean there have been times lately when I've thought it might be easier if I just carried a brick wall with me so I could slam my head against it whenever I had the idea to try and do something productive. Cut out the middle man, you know?)
A complete stranger stopped me after evensong yesterday to tell me she thought I had a beautiful voice. That's always nice to hear, and sometimes it's nicer to hear from someone you've never seen before (because of the complete lack of social obligation on that person's part, I mean).
