I know some of you have teenage daughters but don't read tzikeh's LJ, so I am reposting what she said:

This is a very short flash animation which shows a woman sitting down in front of a mirror, and being transformed (in fast-forward and time-lapse) through makeup, hairstyling, and Photoshop into the face on a billboard ad for a brand of cosmetics.

Watch it; have your daughters watch it; and, you know, it wouldn't be the end of the world if your teenage (and younger) sons watched it, as well.

That was... pretty amazing. Or maybe mind boggling. I got MissHamill to watch it as well, we both kinda freaked out over the photoshopping thing.

This is pretty cool.

I also recommend going to http://www.fluideffect.com/. It is similar to this animation, except it uses before/after stills of Hollywood peeps.

It definitely shows the world that the "glamorous" Hollywood stars get the equivalent of ILM magic to make us feel less attractive. :-)
