soon our tuesday will be complete.
So, first day at work today. Training on random software that I'm actually grasping v. quickly -- not the speediest in the room, perhaps, but definitely in the top percentile. This continues tomorrow, and then I'll get my badge and phone and stuff on Thursday. Hurrah! Must call the bank and alert them to the fact that there won't be any direct deposits this month, and ask if maybe they can not charge me a fee for the month.
Had a productive evening at curling, working on my delivery. But it's official: I've outgrown my broom. Specifically, it doesn't slide as fast as my slider, and it's dragging me back and pulling me off line. Not that it's the only thing wrecking my line, but even when I'm doing everything else right (according to CL and DF), it's still causing trouble. So I know what my first purchase of the new now-I-can-afford-stuff world will be.
