curling yay!

First night of women's league last night. Won in seven ends -- largely, I must admit, because [livejournal.com profile] flt's sweepers were not accustomed to the weight at which she throws her hits. We got a couple of lucky steals.

But I got to use my new shoes, and they pleased me very much! Once I, um, stopped falling off of them, which took about three ends.
