I lived in Scotland for a year (and, tangentially, in England for three more, and although the World Curling Federation recognizes England and Scotland and Wales separately, the International Olympic Committee doesn't, so Team Scotland here is GBR at the Olympics) and studied Norwegian while I was there. Can you really be surprised that I'm behind those teams when I'm allowed to be behind anyone? (Side note: this year's Team USA was, to be frank, fairly obnoxious. I'd have liked to see them play well, but I'm not especially sorry that they didn't advance. I'd rather we were represented by a team that comported themselves a little better.)
