Er, almost. 1.6 socks -- the second one has had its heel turned, and I'm not going to deal with picking up stitches for the gussets tonight, because I know it will just end in tears.
(I do have a stretchier cuff this time. The trick is apparently to cast on over two needles and also work as loosely as you can possibly stand. Or, in future, to get size 5's and not go crazy. Because DAMN.)
