fox | moving update! get on the karma wagon!

DCfolk -- the plan as of now is this:

Saturday 26 July
- 9:55 am - I present myself at rental office of new place to collect keys.
- 10:00 am - office opens and they give me the keys.
- 10:05 am-??? - painting. Many hands make light work!, but even if you prefer not to handle rollers etc., your company is always welcome.
- sometime between 2 and 5pm - phone and, I believe, cable will be connected.
- after phone and cable are connected - I leave my car at the new place and head back down NoVA-wards with sanj (and ellen_fremedon?) to retrieve the truck and load the stuff in it that will be hardest to load into a truck solo. Many hands = light work. Not that I don't think people might have other plans on a Saturday evening, but no joke, if you don't, do consider coming along for half an hour and lending a hand with one bulky furniture item. The hallway is not very long between my place and the freight elevator. [bats eyelashes]

Sunday 27 July
- morning - depending on the state of things, I may load some more stuff into the truck in the morning. I'm not going to ask anyone to help me before noon.
- 12pm+ - I will have driven the truck up to the new place and need help unloading the stuff there. Many hands etc. Full disclosure, this will be harder because we're looking at a second-floor walkup. This may create difficulty vis-à-vis couch, dresser, box spring. But we can manage! We are resourceful!
- then - pizza and beer for everyone!

Both, repeat, both places are metro-accessible for those who may wish to join me. The relevant stations are Pentagon (old place is a quick bus ride away) and Silver Spring. Who's in? Thankyew!
