picked up my new glasses today. huzzah for clear vision! they took some getting used to, but now i'm all able to see again. yay! (i'd never realized how much worse my vision is in my right eye than in my left -- but these lenses are, like, way not the same thickness. dude.)
also got new earrings. i had hoops with ball closures, but they were old and flimsy -- the balls were attached to one side, and the hoops were all bendy and tarnished. so now i have the more substantial hoops that don't get all bendy, with the ball that fits between the ends -- 16 gauge medium hoops with silver balls in the first set, and 18 gauge with dark balls for the rest; medium hoops in the middle, and small hoops on top. more yay!
