you heard me say the meal would be right even if the kitchen isn't

Matzo balls: matzo meal plus eggs plus vegetable oil.

My kitchen contains: peanut oil and olive oil.

Peanut oil is right out. Should I use the olive oil, or heave a great sigh and buy some canola?

Olive oil works fine.

i figured it would, but it's olive-y enough that it would affect the flavor, i expect. maybe not. couple of tablespoons over a whole pot of soup, maybe not. but still -- E and S can lend me non-chametz veg oil, so i shall use that instead.

You could also come over here and borrow some canola oil.

I see that E has hooked up you up, but this is what I meant when I said that the kitchen was open to you, and that you should poke if you need stuff.
