help?

I have a biggish .mkv file that I'm trying to convert to .m4a. Only downloadable programs I can find for this want to limit me to three minutes or shove a watermark on the converted file. (Or take fifty bucks off me, which, whmpr.) Anyone know of or have a converter and able to give me a hand?
