- My throat is not sore. A little irritated, but that's from post-nasal drip; no biggie.
- My throat is also not scratchy or red. It does not hurt to swallow. (Not much.)
- My tonsils are still swollen. Also, each has charming white spots today.
- There are no white spots anywhere but my tonsils.
- I am not coughing or sneezing.
- I do not have a fever. (Well. Mid-99's, coming and going, but not higher than that.)

That's not strep, right? I swear, except for the tired and run-down, I feel fine. (Note for the record: I'm not fussed one way or the other if it's strep or not, except if the solution is that I should pull out of the concert on Sunday. I do not want to do this. What I'm looking for is reassurance that I won't be hurting anyone if I go sing tonight. Hit it!)

I hate to tell you, but the white spots on your tonsils and the lack of coughing and sneezing sure make it sound like you have strep. (See WebMD here for symptoms: http://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/understanding-strep-throat-symptoms )

If it's strep, then it's definitely contagious at some stages. Although I'm no doctor, so I don't know whether you'd be contagious or not.
