- My throat is not sore. A little irritated, but that's from post-nasal drip; no biggie.
- My throat is also not scratchy or red. It does not hurt to swallow. (Not much.)
- My tonsils are still swollen. Also, each has charming white spots today.
- There are no white spots anywhere but my tonsils.
- I am not coughing or sneezing.
- I do not have a fever. (Well. Mid-99's, coming and going, but not higher than that.)

That's not strep, right? I swear, except for the tired and run-down, I feel fine. (Note for the record: I'm not fussed one way or the other if it's strep or not, except if the solution is that I should pull out of the concert on Sunday. I do not want to do this. What I'm looking for is reassurance that I won't be hurting anyone if I go sing tonight. Hit it!)

Well, you should get on antibiotics, because that will lessen the amount of time you are contagious. But I used to be able to go to school with strep as long as I was careful to sneeze or cough only into a kleenex, and to not at all share any kind of utensils, cups, etc. with anyone else.

That said, you belong in bed with tea and soup and juice, as much as possible. Mild strep is only an inconvenience, but bad strep will make you wish you were dead.
