- My throat is not sore. A little irritated, but that's from post-nasal drip; no biggie.
- My throat is also not scratchy or red. It does not hurt to swallow. (Not much.)
- My tonsils are still swollen. Also, each has charming white spots today.
- There are no white spots anywhere but my tonsils.
- I am not coughing or sneezing.
- I do not have a fever. (Well. Mid-99's, coming and going, but not higher than that.)

That's not strep, right? I swear, except for the tired and run-down, I feel fine. (Note for the record: I'm not fussed one way or the other if it's strep or not, except if the solution is that I should pull out of the concert on Sunday. I do not want to do this. What I'm looking for is reassurance that I won't be hurting anyone if I go sing tonight. Hit it!)

Can you swallow orange juice that has a little pulp in it? If so, it's not strep. The inability to deal with slightly pulpy orange juice was a sign of it, when I was a kid.

However, if your tonsils have white spots there is definitely an infection going on. Since mine were removed when I was 5, that's all I can say about it.
