Well, now, that was "The Lottery" and "The Mask of the Red Death", wasn't it? (But not much "The Ones Who Walk From Omelas", although it did seem it was going that way for a bit there -- because, I mean, even if you figure you want to get the hell out of Omelas, in this case, where are you going to go? And incidentally, in my sophomore ethics class where we read that, I remember being the one in the room who said Sure, we're meant to see the ones who leave as the good guys, but I'd think plenty more of them if they got the kid out of the basement first? So Torchwood = the ones who stayed and shook up Omelas, innit?)

It was designed to make us awfully uncomfortable, and boy, did it.

I would like to believe that Ianto will not stay dead, and for the next twenty-four hours I'm going to cling to Gwen's line "there's nothing we can do" to try to believe it may be possible.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

NOTE: I'm not interested in what you know about tomorrow, y'all. I'll watch it in my own time. Thanks!

I know nothing about tomorrow, but I sure am pissed about tonight.
