Well, that's that then. (And I'm glad, because I gave up my hope that Ianto might not stay dead when the opening credits went from Eve Myles to Kai Owen with no Gareth David-Lloyd in between.)
I am glad they don't expect us to go on without Ianto, never mind old Jack.
GOD, and forget Ianto, how could we have gone on with a Jack who had to make that decision about his own grandbaby? I'll tell you what, I didn't cry yesterday, but today, with the soldiers taking the kids away and the adults screaming (and quite right too), I fucking sobbed. (I didn't quite cry for the Frobishers, because I twigged what was in the box as soon as we saw the fucking box -- much as I twigged Bridget there had the contacts as soon as she glared at the PM -- but I also think closing the girls' bedroom door was quite enough and I could have done without the gunshots, thanks very much.) Johnny Brother-in-Law and the dads got me as well. And yay for Andy choosing a fucking side.
