home safe. car is fine for now; have appointment to have it seen (assessment from merchant's: "one of the pulleys" -- anyone know what that means?) on wednesday. will also ask them to check balance, alignment, etc., as pulling-to-the-left really starting to get annoying. also, AC crapped out. result: sunburn.

completely missed AM class. feel bad about this, but between condition of self (knackered) and condition of car (unknown) last night, i don't feel too bad about not pushing on through. i'd probably still have missed this morning's class, after all.

but it was worth it! :-) 'lo to all. longer updatey thing later.

And you know, *I'd* accept "went to New York to celebrate Pride with friends" as a valid excuse for an absence. *g*

see, and if there'd been a class yesterday (or if pride had been today), that might have flown. but would you accept "went to new york to celebrate pride with friends and was too tired to get all the way back home, although there was plenty of time"? (yes, one's health and safety is more important than attendance. beside the point at the mo. [g])
